About me
I have always been fascinated by human thinking and behaviour, and by the multifaceted ways in which it manifests itself on an emotive and somatic level. This interest inspires me to expand my knowledge of various aspects of human living through studies, research and lived experiences in the field of linguistic, intercultural and psychological communication.
I have had the majority of these experiences in the UK, where I lived for nearly two decades, entering into contact with various multicultural realities both in personal and professional contexts. There, I have gained long-term experience in academic teaching and in therapeutic support to adults.
I am a curious and reflective person with a great sense of observation. I am passionate about human relations and how they evolve depending on the cultural, intergenerational and intra-psychic contexts in which they are being negotiated. I have also another big passion: tennis. A sport that I practise and follow in my free time.
In 2019, I relocated to Italy, where I have been working internationally both in person and online, providing psychotherapy, counselling and Focusing-Oriented Therapy services. I have also been working in collaboration with various academic and training institutions worldwide, teaching and promoting counselling.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and the Italian Association for Counselling (AssoCounseling). I am also a Certified member of the International Focusing Institute (TIFI) and of the British Focusing Association (BFA).
