Academic Counselling
Academic counselling is a relation of professional help for university students and members of staff. As a previous University Lecturer and as an Alumni, I know too well the demands and the pressure that this environment can place on individuals, let alone the pressure coming from self and others. The main aim of this type of support is to foster individuals’ lived experiences of studying or working in Academia. This modality of counselling can be particularly useful for issues related to anxiety, expectation, motivation, procrastination, public speaking and stress.
